Almitee's assets module offers a comprehensive system for managing your organization's assets, allowing for both individual additions and bulk imports. Assets can be linked to various entities within your organization, providing a detailed and interconnected asset management system.

Adding Assets

Individual Addition

  • You can by entering their details, such as name, category, model, and associated links (e.g., user, location, client).

Bulk Import

  • For mass asset entry, use the import option, which typically supports formats like CSV or Excel. This feature streamlines the addition of numerous assets simultaneously, ensuring efficiency and consistency in data entry.

Asset Linkage

An asset in Almitee can be associated with several elements:

  • Model: Defines the parent type or category of the asset, helping in organizing and managing similar assets.

  • User: An asset can be assigned to a user, indicating possession.

  • Location: Linking an asset to a location helps in tracking its physical whereabouts.

  • Client: Assets can be associated with clients, useful in service or rental scenarios.

  • Responsible User: Designates a user accountable for the asset's maintenance or management.

  • Department: Associating assets with specific departments can aid in resource allocation and accountability.

Asset Detail Page

Upon selecting an asset, you'll access its detail page, which is divided into several informative tabs:

  1. Info Tab: Consolidates all pertinent details about the asset, offering a comprehensive overview at a glance.

  2. Documents: Stores and manages documents related to the asset, such as manuals, warranties, or contracts.

  3. Tickets: Displays any helpdesk tickets linked to the asset, facilitating issue tracking and resolution.

  4. AI Chat: Features an AI assistant tailored to the asset, allowing users to interact and get assistance or information directly.

  5. Knowledge Base: Contains data that the AI assistant uses to learn and provide relevant responses or solutions.

  6. History: Chronicles the asset's lifecycle and interactions, providing a timeline of usage, maintenance, and changes.
