Grid columns
Introduction
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for managing the visibility of columns in the grid tables of the application. Users can customize their view by showing or hiding specific columns, as well as resetting to the default column settings when needed.
Accessing Column Management
To manage the visibility of columns in a grid table:
Locate the header of the column you want to alter.
Click on the three dots icon (⋮) next to the header of the column.
This action will open a dropdown menu.
Showing and Hiding Columns
After opening the dropdown menu:
Select the option ‘Manage Columns’. This will open the column management interface.
In the column management interface, you will see a list of available columns with checkboxes next to them.
To hide a column, uncheck the checkbox next to the column name.
To show a hidden column, check the checkbox next to the column name.
Once you have made your selections, the changes will be applied immediately, and the grid table will update to reflect the columns you have chosen to show or hide.
Resetting Columns to Default
If you need to restore the columns to their default settings:
Open the column management interface by clicking the three dots icon (⋮) next to any column header and selecting ‘Manage Columns’.
Click the ‘Reset Columns’ button.
This action will reset all columns in the application to their default visibility settings.
Please note that this will affect all tables in the application at once.
